AccessAudit

Free & Open Source

Our free, open-source, AI-powered accessibility auditing tool. Run comprehensive WCAG 2.x checks on your own machine, with your own AI provider, and produce full ACR-style reports, built by the same DHS Trusted Tester certified team behind our professional audits.

Important Disclaimer

AccessAudit is a self-service benchmarking tool and is not a certified compliance determination from Simkins & Elgazar. AI-assisted results depend on the models you configure and always require human verification. For a defensible ADA Title II or Section 508 compliance position, a manual audit by a certified DHS Trusted Tester is required.

What AccessAudit Does

AccessAudit combines deterministic testing (axe-core, contrast mathematics, target-size measurement, keyboard tab-order walks) with multi-model AI analysis of your page's code, screenshots, and video. It evaluates WCAG 2.x success criteria at A, AA, and AAA, then produces ACR-style output in HTML, DOCX, XLSX, and PDF, with a complete evidence trail behind every finding.

  • Comprehensive WCAG 2.x coverage across A, AA, and AAA success criteria
  • Deterministic measurements: contrast, target size, tab order, ARIA validity
  • Multi-model AI analysis of code, screenshots, and page video
  • ACR/VPAT-style reports in HTML, DOCX, XLSX, and PDF
  • Full audit trail: every AI prompt and response saved, untruncated
  • Runs entirely on your hardware; pages you audit never touch our servers
